The Watertown Police Department is Offering the DECIDE Program to Watertown Seniors. Designed by law enforcement personnel to educate seniors in crime prevention techniques and help reduce their chances of becoming victims of crime, the DECIDE (Developing Elder’s Choices in Defensive Education) program teaches risk-reducing strategies that enhance personal safety at home and in public. This course helps individuals stay safe and in control by learning how to recognize and react to unsafe situations, how to be more aware of surroundings, and how to respond to different situations.
Officer Patty Grady of the Watertown Police Department will teach this free 8-week course at the Senior Center beginning July 11 at 10:00 a.m. Call 617-972-6490 to register.
