Thu Nov 08, 2007, 10:45 AM ESTIn response to complaints from bus riders, officials plan to push for a new bus stop in the Watertown Square delta.
On Wednesday, during a Department of Public Works Committee meeting, minds appeared to be made up that the delta — an inlet for taxis and buses in front of the Riverbend Office Park off of Galen Street — would be the safest spot to reroute Bus 70.
Concerns have been brewing for the past two years about the removal of a bus stop on Main Street in front of the Watertown Savings Bank. Going into the winter months, some residents are worried for the elderly and disabled [more].
