Springwell: Communities of the future
December 2, 2007
From Springwell, co-sponsored by the Watertown Council on Aging, a discussion on Communities of the future and “aging at home:”
Throughout Massachusetts, boomers and non-boomers alike are talking about how to create the communities of their future. Retirement communities, assisted-living facilities and nursing homes are not part of the picture. People are focused on remaining in their homes with the comfort of knowing that whatever they may need in the future will be available right at their front door—when and where they want it.Springwell invites the public to join a discussion about how to make these communicites a realitiy. Whether beginning a conversation with neighbors, looking to begin a conversation in the community or interested in kowing what the buzz is all about, the public may join the larger conversation hosted by Springwell and co-sponsored by the Watertown Council on Aging.
The event takes place Thursday, December 13. Registration and refreshments are at 6:30pm, and the discussion is from 7 to 8:30pm at Springwell, 125 Walnut Street. Watertown. Ample free parking is on site.
