SEPAC December 12th monthly meeting
December 9, 2007
From Stephanie Sawyer-Ames (jamie-ames at excite.com) of the Watertown Special Education Parent Advisory Council:
I know December is busy – actually, what month isn’t? – but the SEPAC meeting makes it worth getting out for a couple of hours. Eat, enjoy the comraderie of other parents and learn about the myriad offerings of the Waltham ARC. They are a great resource sitting in our backyard! The Waltham ARC has a variety of programs that can help our children, especially as they graduate from school.
An ARC representative will give an overview of Day Services offered such as Day Education and EPT; Recreation – liaison to city agencies, supported summer day camps, child and adult recreation programs at GWARC and in community; and Family Support Services – parent groups, Parent Speaker series, quarterly seasonal family events, DMR flex spending contract.
