The SEPAC meeting dates are a bit different for February and March – they’re only a week apart. Our March meeting is co-sponsored with Arlington and is in Arlington. Both are great speakers. Catch them if you can!

* February 27, 2008: It’s a Mad, Mad World

So popular he’s become a yearly speaker – Dr. David Perna, a psychologist, will speak on anger management. He was the former head of the Anger Management Program at McLean Hospital and a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School. He is now in private practice in Lexington, MA.

location: Lowell Library, 7-8:30 p.m. Child care is provided. Refreshments are always served.

* March 5, 2008: Bonnie Singer on Brain Frames (co-sponsored with Arlington)

Dr. Singer is a certified speech-language pathologist who holds masters and doctoral degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. With expertise in language, learning, and literacy, she is passionate about working with school-age students of all ages, especially those who struggle with executive functions and written expression. She will speak to us about an organizing technique called Brain Frames™.
