Animal Control Ordinance update:
Bob presented handouts of the 12/13/07 proposed revisions for the animal control ordinance. Title I of ADA requires a municipal review of ordinances for disability compliance. In an email prior to the meeting, Kim Charlson asked that the discussion be tabled until the June meeting since she couldn’t attend tonight’s meeting. Next steps: the request for proposed revisions now comes from the Board of Health or the WCOD to Councilor Kounelis. Bob stated that Chief Deveau and Captain Raymond Dupuis are in agreement with the inclusion of Section 6. The revision may have already been provided to the Town’s attorney. George suggested that we invite Councilors Hecht and Kounelis to the June meeting and present this agenda item at that time.
